Gene Joyner will be our speaker this month. He will talk about preparing for winter and pest/disease management. Gene was instrumental in the founding of the Palm Beach chapter of the RFC and served on our first official board of directors in 1971. He retired from the Palm Beach County Extension Service as our Tropical Fruit and Vegetable agent after more than 30 years and he has also been a widely read newspaper columnist and a local radio talk show host for many years. He keeps himself busy in retirement by tending to his beautiful garden at Unbelievable Acres were he conducts public tours. Gene is a wealth of knowledge and will gladly answer all of your fruit growing questions.
